To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Singapore Cable Car (SCC), VizioFly was commissioned to carry out a professional photoshoot of the newly launched SkyOrb cabins futuristic, chrome-finished spherical cable cars connecting Mount Faber and Sentosa Island. These visually striking cabins, equipped with double and triple window louvres for ventilation and a glass-bottomed floor, elevate the cable car experience for both locals and tourists. Our visual documentation celebrates this engineering feat while showcasing the cabins’ sleek design, advanced features, and panoramic views of Singapore’s iconic skyline and lush surroundings.
The Brief
SCC sought to highlight the launch of the world’s first chrome-finished spherical cable car cabins a milestone innovation for their 50th anniversary. The brief called for high-quality, detailed imagery that captured the essence of the SkyOrb cabins in motion, the architectural brilliance, and their seamless integration into Singapore’s scenic cable car route. The visuals were to be used for press releases, digital promotions, and commemorative campaigns celebrating SCC’s continued legacy and forward-thinking innovations.
Our Approach
VizioFly deployed a team of ground, and interior photographers to comprehensively capture the SkyOrb cabins in dynamic motion between Mount Faber and Sentosa. Special emphasis was placed on the glass-bottom experience, cabin ventilation systems, and reflective chrome exteriors. We employed advanced lens technology to frame the cabins against Singapore’s skyline, ensuring every shot reflected the elegance and innovation of the design. Post-production enhancements focused on contrast, reflections, and composition to deliver captivating, brand-aligned visual assets for SCC’s milestone celebration.
