The European Palm Oil Alliance commissioned a VR tour to combat the negative perceptions surrounding palm oil plantations. The VR experience immerses the viewer in an East Malaysian plantation and showcases the sustainable practices used in palm oil production.
The Brief
The goal was to educate and inform the public about the sustainable production of palm oil and promote the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) certification. The challenge was to create an immersive experience that would accurately depict the palm oil plantation and the good agricultural practices used.
Our Approach
VizioFly used cutting-edge VR technology to create an immersive experience that showcases the sustainable production of palm oil. The VR tour allows the viewer to experience the entire process, from seeing how oil palms grow to the harvesting of fresh fruit bunches. We used a combination of 360-degree video and computer-generated imagery (CGI) to create a realistic portrayal of the plantation. The VR tour is an effective tool in educating and promoting sustainable palm oil production.
