At the Masyarakat Gemilang Conference, VizioFly delivered an innovative blend of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) experiences to redefine how attendees interact with speakers and content. The VR component enabled guests to join a virtual meeting space where 25 participants could engage in real-time Q&A sessions with virtual interviewers. In parallel, an AR experience allowed users to scan four designated pillars using their mobile phones to activate life-sized digital profiles of speakers delivering talks. The project demonstrated how immersive technologies can enhance interactivity and user engagement during conferences, blending physical presence with digital interaction in a highly accessible way.
The Brief
The client required a futuristic showcase of how professional interactions, such as interviews and talks, could evolve using XR technologies. The brief included setting up a 25 seat Virtual Reality environment where users could participate in structured interviews within a virtual meeting space. Additionally, the client requested a standalone AR experience that used WebAR technology to make physical installations (pillars) come alive with speaker content. These interactive modules needed to be easy to access, user friendly, and designed to work independently without requiring additional app downloads.
Our Approach
VizioFly deployed a team of six experienced professionals to set up the immersive VR zone and guide users through their interviews. We customized the VR experience to include spatial seating and intuitive navigation, helping participants feel fully present during the virtual interactions. For the AR activation, we developed four WebAR scenes tied to specific pillars. By scanning a QR code, users could view animated speaker profiles directly through their mobile browsers where no app needed. This allowed groups to interact simultaneously while maintaining individual control over the experience. The result was a seamless XR showcase that captivated audiences and aligned perfectly with the conference’s forward-thinking vision.
